A helmet only protects you properly when it fits. Take two minutes to measure before you order.

How to measure your head

Use a soft measuring tape. No tape? Use a piece of string, then measure the string with a ruler.
Wrap it around the widest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows and just above your ears.
Keep the tape level all the way round and comfortably snug.
Measure two or three times and use the largest reading.

Match your measurement to the chart

Sizing differs between helmet models, so always use the size chart shown on the product page of the helmet you want. Don't assume your size in one helmet is your size in another.

How a helmet should feel

Snug all the way around, with the cheek pads touching your cheeks.
No pressure points or hot spots on your forehead.
With the strap fastened, the helmet should not roll forward off your head or twist freely side to side.
New helmets loosen slightly as the padding beds in, so a firm fit is normal.

The A1 is a carbon fiber adventure motorcycle helmet with a peak, a panoramic visor and a drop-down sun visor. The carbon shell keeps weight down to reduce fatigue on long days, whether that means mountain roads, off-road trails or the commute, and you can order it with or without a Bluetooth intercom.

Sizing

Sizes M, L, XL and XXL. Shell finishes are 3K Grain, 12K Grain and Forged carbon, each with a clear, tinted, aurora red or photochromic visor. Measure the circumference of your head about 1 cm (0.4 in) above the eyebrows and check the size chart below. Between sizes, the larger one is the more comfortable choice.
