How to measure your head

Use a soft measuring tape. No tape? Use a piece of string, then measure the string with a ruler.
Wrap it around the widest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows and just above your ears.
Keep the tape level all the way round and comfortably snug.
Measure two or three times and use the largest reading.

Match your measurement to the chart

Sizing differs between helmet models, so always use the size chart shown on the product page of the helmet you want. Don't assume your size in one helmet is your size in another.

How a helmet should feel

Snug all the way around, with the cheek pads touching your cheeks.
No pressure points or hot spots on your forehead.
With the strap fastened, the helmet should not roll forward off your head or twist freely side to side.
New helmets loosen slightly as the padding beds in, so a firm fit is normal.

The SM1 is a modular motorcycle helmet with a flip-up chin bar and a dual lens system, certified to ECE and DOT standards. It gives you full-face protection on the highway and open-face convenience in town, and it has a dedicated slot for Bluetooth speakers if you want to add comms later.

Sizing

Available in M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL; see the size chart below. Wrap a soft tape (or a piece of string) around your head just above the eyebrows and around the widest part at the back, snug but not tight, and note the circumference in cm or inches. Between sizes, choose the larger for a more comfortable fit. The helmet should feel snug but not too tight, as it loosens slightly over time, and the chin strap should always be fastened properly.
