A helmet only protects you properly when it fits. Take two minutes to measure before you order.

How to measure your head

Use a soft measuring tape. No tape? Use a piece of string, then measure the string with a ruler.
Wrap it around the widest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows and just above your ears.
Keep the tape level all the way round and comfortably snug.
Measure two or three times and use the largest reading.

Match your measurement to the chart

Sizing differs between helmet models, so always use the size chart shown on the product page of the helmet you want. Don't assume your size in one helmet is your size in another.

How a helmet should feel

Snug all the way around, with the cheek pads touching your cheeks.
No pressure points or hot spots on your forehead.
With the strap fastened, the helmet should not roll forward off your head or twist freely side to side.
New helmets loosen slightly as the padding beds in, so a firm fit is normal.

Description

The Z-728 is a retro full face helmet for riders who want classic styling with full coverage. It comes in Matte Black, Gloss Black, White, Orange, Red, Matte Grey and the New York Raider design, in sizes M, L, XL and XXL.

Sizing

Measure around your head with a tape just above the eyebrows and at the top of your ears, then check the size chart below. Between sizes, order the smaller one: the helmet should feel snug when new and molds to your head shape after a short period of use.

Checking the fit

Cheek pads should press lightly on your cheeks without pinching.
There should be no pressure points on your forehead after a few minutes of wear.
With the strap done up, the helmet should not rotate freely or lift off when you push up from the chin bar.
